Founding Membership · Presale

The first table is being set.

The Cellar beneath the green awning is opening as a private club, built around relationships, not golf. Before it opens, a limited number of places are held for the people who were there when it started.

34 founding places remain of 100

01 — What a Founding Member holds

Countable, from the first night.

Every place in the presale is a named allotment, scheduled inventory you can point at, not a benefit list. Four things are true of all of them.

01

A rate that does not move

Your founding rate is held for five years, through every tier revision after opening.

02

First call on the Cellar

Founding allotments are placed on the Cellar calendar before general members book a night.

03

A seat at the first table

Ten to twelve people sit down on opening night. Founding Members choose from those seats first.

04

Your name in the room

Permanent recognition Downstairs, for as long as the membership is held.

02 — The Cellar

The room you cannot book.

The secret is the place. The club is the people.

Below the lobby of what was then The Newporter Inn, there is a private room where John Wayne held his weekly poker game. The brick, the stairs, the mirrors and the carpet are still there. It has been holding storage and the occasional banquet for forty years.

Nobody needed to build a clubhouse. Somebody needed to set the table again: ten to twelve at the main table, seventy standing, a kitchen upstairs and a course outside.

03 — The day

Nine holes before your first call. Dinner downstairs at seven.

The same four people, morning on the par-3 and evening at the table. That cut is the whole membership in two frames: golf, when it is useful.

Morning on the par-3, then evening at the Cellar entrance.

04 — Founding tiers

Three ways to hold a place.

Annual dues, billed on opening. Reserve now with a refundable deposit; you confirm the tier after you have seen the room.

Individual Host

$3,500 – $6,500

One member. Guest hosting, social and family use.

Corporate Host

$7,500 – $15,000

Named executives. Client hosting and team use.

Anchor Partner

$20,000 – $30,000

A visible home for a company or a community.

Working ranges for the paid design-partner test. No tier is final until five corporate partners have paid one.

05 — How the presale works

Four steps, no surprises.

Important limit

The deposit is refundable in full until you sign a membership agreement. The club creates the conditions for stronger relationships. It does not promise leads, referrals, contracts, or investment results.

06 — Reserve a place

Tell us who you would bring.

We read every one of these. If the fit is right, you will hear from us within two business days with a time to walk the property and see the room before anything is signed.
